Ayodeji Adelowo, the Co-founder of SalesUnbox, a digital growth organisation that helps small business enterprises stand out for success in the digital world, is a tech sales and business development manager. With over 7 years of experience in business development, super heading remarkable achievement such as growing customer base, and championing the expansion of products into new countries, his soft skill of result driven professionalism has been put to action countless times.

He has a strong belief that the small businesses are the engine to the nation's economic growth, and has severally talked about SMEs are capable of driving innovations, creating job opportunities and fostering resilience. There have been public testaments on how he identifies problems in SMEs and builds a tool to solve them while ensuring that these tools are affordable and easy to explore by these entrepreneurs. One of the problems being global exposure, Adelowo was able to act as a conduit utilising the opportunity of being selected as one of the 10 entrepreneurs from Ondo state who were liable for an international leadership and innovation training in 2023. During this time, he helped to realise the idea that local SMEs should be exposed to international training and networking, strong on the vision that it is essential for their growth.

As someone who is enthusiastic about making an impact, and contributing to the success of companies, it was just a matter of time before he started his own. In 2024, Adelowo launched SalesUnbox, to serve as a survival kit for SMEs. With a knowledge of international best practices and Nigeria's entrepreneurial realities, you can tell he is building a platform that ensures not just growth but sustainability. He's deliberately building a toolbox that merges core business tools into one seamless platform.

SalesUnbox ensures people can access business operation platforms in their local currency — to solve problems of currency conversion and exchange and also ensure instead of using multiple softwares, you can use one that aggregate all the features needed. It gives its users the freedom to build free website, record expense and sales made, receive online payments, create invoices and virtual bank accounts, and send marketing campaigns to customers, a full global package in one. One of the outstanding features of SalesUnbox is the easy accessibility. It has been made readily available to all local small business owners by making available free trials with no credit card requirement, and low price packages. This already shows that it is not reserved for the elite.

As a simple yet powerful tool, SalesUnbox combines what a business needs into a single affordable product. This is clear evidence of how much work Adelowo invests in ensuring ease, in an interview by TechCabal and TechPoint Africa in September 2024, he had stated clearly, “ Small businesses don't need scattered tools, they need a single tool box that works.” And with that vision SalesUnbox was birth to ignite SMEs and large enterprises potential, making all complexities simple.

So far, SalesUnbox has accumulated 5000+ SMEs, and a 4.8 star rating. This shows now much inclusivity and accessibility is needed amongst small business owners. Adelowo’s vision is deeply tied to community empowerment, as he sees the future of SalesUnbox serving as an everyday partner to SMEs across Africa to help them transition from survival to scalability. Currently, there are plans of extending Ghana, Kenya, UK and Canada due to the request of users.
